Youth

We are committed to ensuring our youth are engaged, empowered, included and celebrated. These opportunities are provided through low cost programs, our regional youth council the ‘Youth Leaders’,  our youth access service, mayoral events, supported community events and through the provision of services such as our librariesart galleriespools, skate parks and sporting venues.

The YouthConnect program works with young people in our region and delivers classes, programs and events. Where possible, events are provided free of charge and include a wide range of activities such as: skateboarding, art, music, pool parties, basketball and more.
