Current Corporate Plan
The Corporate Plan 2014 - 2019 (1 July 2014 - 30 June 2019) was adopted by on June 27, 2014.
The Plan outlines the vision, goals, outcomes and strategic actions that aim to ensure the region's future meets the needs and aspirations of the community. Councillors and staff share responsibility to ensure that Council's vision, goals, outcomes and strategic actions are achieved.
The strategic actions identified in the Corporate Plan form the basis of Council's Budget, Operational Plan and associated policies while the performance measures provide a means of monitoring progress towards achieving Council's goals and outcomes. The measures provide a useful tool to illustrate to the community the achievements of Council and to monitor the wellbeing of the region.
New 2019 - 2024 Corporate Plan
The 2019-2024 Corporate Plan will take effect from 1 July 2019 through to 30 June 2024.
This is an overarching document for Council which sets out the way we wish to engage with the community and sets out the values we aim to achieve as an organisation – accountability, safety and wellbeing, teamwork, honesty and respect.
We partner with the community through authentic leadership and responsible governance to ensure a sustainable and bright future for our region.
To do this Council has undertaken a number of consultation activities with the community, our staff, our management team and elected representatives. From this consultation we have identified five goals that will drive what we do to responsibly manage our community and region.
